Rev. Lekesha R. Barnett is a native Houstonian well known for a very relevant and spiritually empowering preaching and teaching gift. She has been recognized by many leaders as possessing "wisdom beyond her years", "a spirit of excellence" and being a "young woman of noble character."  From her youth she has been actively involved in church and campus ministries but surrendered to the divine calling of God to preach the Gospel in 1998.  She is a licensed and ordained servant-leader in the Body of Christ.  

Lekesha is a graduate of the University of Houston with a BA in Psychology. She earned two Master's Degrees from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia in Community Counseling and Practical Theology.  Lekesha began working as the first ordained female minister on staff at New Faith Church in 2001 as the minister of Christian Education eventualy to serve as the first female assistant pastor until 2008. During this time she developed a new vision for Bible study and discipleship under the S.A.L.T. (Spirit And Life Training) Institute, a 10 week Teacher Training Program, enhanced Bible study and discipleship options and supervised the direction of over 30 ministries. 

The Lord has since promoted Lekesha to a larger territory of ministry where she has served as a missionary/evangelist in Mexico, Jamaica, India, Ghana and a variety of conferences and workshops in the United States.  In 2007 Lekesha was gifted with the visionary leadership for establishing HER Call Ministries with a group of 6 female ministers and 2 volunteers.  She ministers with a passion for prayer, the Word of God, spiritual formation, discipleship, leadership development and missions.   In November of 2008, author was added to her resume' with the publication of her first book, The Intensified Life:Experience God and Live to Tell About It!. She is presently a Doctor of Ministry student at Fuller Theological Seminary and full-time servant of God through Essentials Intensified Consulting,fulfilling her adopted motto, "the world is my pulpit."
